Certainly one of my favorites too!
    Say, a thought: HGTV producers keep in contact with quite a few
publishers, so that they can get authors on as guests. They also use these
authors to pitch new segment ideas for them. I know that the PR people at
Ten Speed Press are in contact with a number of the HGTV show producers,
which is how I've been getting on it myself. I'll be on HGTV's "Smart
Solutions" on November 15th actually.
    Anyhow, my suggestion is to contact the PR people at your own publishers
and see if they won't share some phone numbers or e-mails with you.
