Very interesting, Dan as I just posted the opposite tuber colors from
my experience...now, I wonder if they just vary from plant to plant??
I just dug mine up so the colors are actually in what passes for my
brain at the moment as I was pondering on this when I cleaned them
off. I've carried these same plants over for several years now;
haven't bought any recently.
I had read that, while edible, they are not exciting; not like the
sweet potatoes we buy in the store. Your experience confirms this.
