Re: Sweet Potato vines

How do all of you overwinter your sweet potato tubers? Mine have been
outside and hit by frosts. Is it too late to lift the tubers and bring them
in? Dahlias and Cannas can usually handle some frost before being lifted.

Thanks to all of you for the great tips on edibles. The celery foliage was
yummy, I also used the immature stalks. The Berggarten sage was just as
beautiful as a decoration. I had an old wooden cutting board that I piled up
the unused sweet potatoes, yukon gold potatoes, strawberries, celery, onions
and such and tucked in the sage, celery leaves and thyme. It was the nicest
centerpiece ever!
