I recommend Ellen Spector Platt!

She's an excellent lecturer with a national reputation, a frequent  
speaker on the flower show circuit, and a regular instructor at the  
NYBG.  She has lectured for numerous American Rose Society meetings  
on the subject of her book Easy and Elegant Rose Designs which really  
brings something extra to the topic of roses.  It's not only about  
growing them, but also some really creative things you can do with  
the flowers beyond their life in the garden.  An unusual and very  
interesting extension of the subject.
