Blog Announcement

As a direct result of the panel discussion on blogging at the GWA  
symposium in Portland, Ellen Spector Platt and I (Ellen Zachos) have  
started a new blog: Garden Bytes from the Big Apple.

We've both been living and gardening in NYC for years and hope to make  
this blog the go-to site for everything related to gardening in NYC.   
(Of course, other urban gardeners may find some of our posts useful,  
too!)  We'll post info about community gardens, NYC parks, city  
gardening tips, public and private city gardens, rooftops and  
backyards, greenroofs and treepits,  hidden treasures, vertical  
gardens, and our favorite NYC garden centers.

Please visit www.gardenbytes.com and let us know what you think.  We  
hope to post about twice a week and welcome your comments and  
constructive criticism.
