Missing Green Bean?
For many years we have had an excellent truck farm just up the road from us.
Two years ago we began our own veggie garden as our source of veggies went
out of business. While discussing green bean verities the old standby
"Little white half-runners" or "Dutch Half Runners" entered the discussion.
Last I heard susceptibility to disease led to their no longer being used
here in mid-west gardens. Any of you really up to date on your veggie
gardening on this excellent tasting and texture bean for the home gardener?
Thank you
