I read an article somewhere that said although the Kindle will read text, if your vision is impaired you can't set it up yourself to read because the commands can't be spoken. In other words, it's not an "accessible' product. You would need a sighted person to read the menus and navigate to spoken text. I hope there's an easy fix for that shortcoming.
