Re: LInked In And Endorsing
My wife, a health services professional, is on LinkedIn in order to keep up
with job changes; exactly the reason that Lois gives.
The corporate folks at Landscape Ontario really like it. They suggest it is
a great way to keep up with people. I believe it is a great way for LinkedIn
to solicit new members because I think everyone who signed up recommended me
as a contact.
Possibly because of the reasons that Lois gives.
Apparently I, too, am a member but I can't access my account. For some
reason, perhaps because I don't recall joining, I don't know my password.
Several of us have verified the captcha challenge before submission but we
can't pass that page.
So it goes.
We are unaware of anyone being contacted with a job offer because their
profile was there.

It's good for keeping up with editors or other publishing professionals who
change jobs a lot;
Lois
