Re: LInked In And Endorsing


 Hi Doug,

LinkedIn is just another tool and I didn't use it at all until I recently
changed course a little bit and discovered 'LinkedIn for Journalists.'
It's good for keeping up with editors or other publishing professionals
who change jobs a lot; or if you are looking for contract work and are
strategic about it. There are also a number of professional 'green'
groups that some on this listserv have joined. I doubt that it would be
of much use to anyone who whose market is consumers.

I didn't attend any of the GWA social media stuff, so I can't say what
suggestions were made, but perhaps Jayme Jenkins or Daniel Giestiger
could weigh in, if they are on this list.
