Can anyone recommend a good resource for presenting the options for 
soil amendments derived from natural materials (rather than 
synthetic) ?  I hesitate to use the term "organic" as it is such a 
misnomer, but I am looking for scientifically based explanations to 
describe why natural soil amendments are preferable over the blue 
powder stuff.
