Not to mention Cotton Easters or Potentials (potentilla)

However my all time favourite was when Joseph Halda started talking about 
the penis plants he was collecting - pronouncing the "i" in the European 
tradition as a long vowel rather than the shorter "i" (eye) used by North 
Americans as in Pinus trees.  There were a few matronly gasps and a long 
lineup for "those" seeds. :-)
