Re: [GWL]: Recommending plant sources


I teach a regular class on gardening among the deer and I have to agree
with Jeff that no plant is deer resistant if they're hungry enough and
they're are enough of them.  I'm going to investigate the electric
spikes you mention having just received.  I' d like to demo them before
I endorse.  If they work for me in NE PA they'll work anywhere.  The
water spritzer doesn't, but perhaps my population concentration is just
too high.

As for your comment on black bears, it's true that we had much more
activity this year around the house.  I thought it was an aberration but
I guess not.
