Re: [GWL]: deer proofing

The deer of Western Oregon are doing all together too well.  Many does are
seen with twins these days a sure indication of good nourishment.  It's a
serious problem for gardeners.  We're putting hoop frames over our greens
right now not so much for cold protection as to exclude the deer.  Does
anyone have some fun and funky techniques that work? Our fence needs an
upper extension...the sight of deer levitating over a high fence is only
funny once...and yes, I call it levitation when from a standing start they
tuck their legs under their tummies and it's up, up, and away.
