Re: [GWL]: Resources on soil


I was away too when that thread was going on. I heartily agree about Soul of
Soil but want to add that Bob Parnes has a good book about soil amendments
and Fred Magdoff has written well about the role of organic matter in soils.
My library is still packed, so I don't have them at hand (don't know the
titles), but think you could probably find them on Amazon or through ag
information sources. Bob Parne's book is called something along the lines of
"Natural and ______ Fertilizers" and Fred's has Organic Matter in the title.
