Re: [GWL]: Recommending plant sources

I went to the site and looked up the reviews.  The only problem I have is
that the reviews are written by the customers.  As writers, we often have
inside information into the companies that the consumers don't and the
consumer review may not reflect the true state of the place.  I checked the
(lone) review for a place I know and the customer didn't have an inkling of
some of the problems I know about at the place, but which could definitely
affect him down the road - mislabling, disease, etc.  So I'd have to say
that a rating strictly by the consumers can miss things.  We, on the other
hand, have had not only more experience, but have had time to learn the true
story in many cases.
