RE: [GWL]: victory gardens

One more on Victory Gardens. When I was asked to recreate a MS Victory 
Garden for the movie 'My Dog Skip', I hit the reference room and looked at a 
journal similar to the one described in the list. Then I asked my radio 
audience and WOW, what a response. Among others, I interviewed a woman who 
was twelve and grew a garden with her Mother and another who lived in a 
boarding house and pulled weeds in their VG in return for food...kind of a 
PAR forerunner, eh Jeff?
By the way, the garden scene is a blink of the eye on film and took a week 
to create!
