[GWL]: Etera, Revisited
Thanks to all for the Etera contacts. I finally talked with Richard Gigot,
the sales manager, and here is the scoop on Etera. They will have their
perennials in retail garden centers throughout the country in the spring,
but the POP cards on various gardens (shade, sun, low water, etc.) may not
be available. Retailers didn't want to pay for them in 2001, and the cards
are expensive to print. A decision on whether these valuable planting
guides will be available is to come in the next month or two. Money is
obviously a huge factor here. Also, Etera has cancelled their booth at the
GWAA 2002 symposium. Again, money the factor.
