Monstera tuberculata Lundell was first described in Lloydia, 1939, number 1,
page 78. It is illustrated. Native to British Honduras (now Belize).
There is also a Monstera tuberculata var. brevinodum (Standley & L. O.
Williams) M. Madison, first described in Contributions to the Gray
Herbarium, 1977, no. 207, page 92. A now-obsolete synonym is Philodendrum
brevinodum.

C. L. Lundell collected the type - specimen (C.L. Lundell 6238) 25 Jun
1936, Belize: El Cayo District: on trees in high advanced forest. according
to the Missouri Botanical Garden's W3-Tropicos Nomenclatural Database at:

At this point I cannot find any record that this species or its variety are
