RE: book sales @ flower shows?

Ellen,
If you get to do a talk and then sell books right after the talk you might
sell a few, but it might not justify the effort. On the other hand, if you
can do the whole show or at least one whole day then you will likely sell
enough to make it worth it. Find an exhibitor willing to give you a little
corner to stack you books and put up a sign. If the book is about orchids
and you are selling at an orchid show it is difficult to find a better group
of qualified potential customers. The local orchid society may have a booth
and be willing to share some space. Give it a go.

Subject: Re: [GWL] book sales @ flower shows?

Does anyone out there have experience selling books at flower or plant
shows? I'm wondering if I should try doing this at some of the larger
orchid shows, but have no experience in this area. I'd appreciate any
input.

Thanks,
Ellen Zachos
