The virus-du-jour is W32.Bugbear@mm.  It's been covered by most of the TV
news shows and in the papers.  You can check out the details of it at the
Norton web page:  http://www.symantec.com  It has been upgraded to a
category 4 virus and appears to be extremely virulent and especially
destructive to networks.  Ultimately it allows hackers to access your most
"private" files.

Every morning this week, I have updated my anti-virus protection and there
have been extensive files to download. Norton has warned me seven times in
the last two weeks that an incoming E-mail was carrying the Bugbear virus.
Fortunately the system deleted the problem before it could infect.  I'm just
crossing my fingers that it didn't come in before I got current!  If you're
not current, now would be the time to get up-to-date.
