RE: Startling statistic
I know that folks are buying more "organic" foods in the super markets.
Maybe the woman buys the food and guy sprays the pesticide on the lawn. I
don't know. Of course 50% of American home landscapes managed by the
homeowner are now managed by the woman in the family, so that model doesn't
really work; or maybe it does. Maybe most of the serious practitioners of
organic methods are women. I don't have any data, but my sense is that may
be very true. Does anyone know the percentage of men and percentage of
women who are serious vegetable gardeners?
