RE: Editing issues

Fran,

I just had an article in an annual book publication published with tons
of errors. These looked to me to be from where someone had edited the
article and then not erased an entire sentence but rather tried to merge
them together.

The year before my name was misspelled. This frequently happens. I think
editors expect writers to edit then they re-edit but do not re-read.
