Can you clarify please
what are industry certifications. I am a horticulturist and have been following this thread in case I need to update my resume

Melanie:  If you have qualified for any industry certifications, list those.  
If you have not, get cracking!  To be listed on those lists is a help, not as 
much a help as being in charge of a five year five million dollar project, 
but it helps.  the horticultural world is very ficused on direct experience and 
five years of pushing a lawn mower counts more than an associate degree in 
horticulture.
