Gardening in Small Spaces, ebook

I've been interested in hearing about Doug's work with ebooks and have made
one up myself using the PDF format. It is emailed free on request and
requires Adobe Acrobat's free reader. I use a PDF tool called PDF995 to
convert my files.

The ebook is called "Gardening in Small Spaces" and is a nicely illustrated
booklet telling gardeners how to make the most of smaller sites. Aimed at
beginning to intermediate gardeners, it is freely transmissable to anyone
via email. The file size is 1,383 KB, and the file name is smallgarden.PDF.
It gives design ideas along with hints on soil prep and container
possibilities.

Perhaps ebooks in one form or another will be part of the future of garden
writing. However, the purpose of mine is that it is a marketing tool for my
paper books, which are listed along with an order form at the end of the
ebook.

Eddie Rhoades was nice enough to test and critique the ebook -- he liked it
and said the pictures were stunning. Thanks, Eddie!

So, any other testers or takers? It probably is better for those with DSL or
other high speed connections. If you would like me to send you a copy, email
me (NOT the whole list) at bbmackey@prodigy.net .

With best wishes,
Betty
