Speaking of google
Speaking of google - they have just announced a new feature called co-op
search. If you have a website or blog, you can install a custom google
search engine on your site and set it to search the web (old) or your own
sites (new addition). I've just added mine and it is set to search all my
sites (over 1000 articles) and blogs. You can check it out at
www.simplegiftsfarm.com/search-results.html
The interesting thing is that you then tie this search into your google
adsense account so that the ads on the search are credited to your account.
And if you're really keen - you can create a group search project and invite
a bunch of friends to contribute their own favourite sites to the project.
So somebody could set up a garden writers search platform and invite garden
writers to contribute their fave sites to the search engine. You could have
multiple search engines on the same site - all put together by different
groups. A blogging group could put together their favourite blogs to search
through etc etc.
You get to it through your gmail account or your adsense account.
Have fun.
