Re: unusual holiday plants?

I'm not sure what the status is, but last Christmas I received a 
Helleborus, Christmas Rose. It was very attractive, but didn't last 
very long in the home environment. I transplanted it outdoors, but 
I'm not sure it made it through the winter. Let's just say plant tags 
and dogs are not a good mix.

Ideally, these should transplant, but at about $20 each, could be 
used as a holiday decoration,

Surprised JF didn't mention this, since it was one of the 
Yoder/Blooms promotions.
