Re: garden blogs

Actually, I write (every other week) for a multi-participant blog,
http://ericmaisel.blogspot.com . It is very easy to do on Blogger.
Although not everyone on this blog followed the directions, there is HTML
code where you post that splits your post into a short intro with a "Read
More" at the end. When a reader clicks on this, it expands to your full
post. That way, several blogs can appear on the first page at one time.
The host of this blog asked participants to choose a day and frequency
(every week, every other week) for posting. The links go to your own blog
or website.

The host is my writing coach and is techno-challenged. He put this blog
together from bits and peices of knowledge supplied by various clients
who had more experience. I do not have the time to actually DO this for
us, or to be the moderator, but I would certainly participate.

If one of our more techno-nerd colleagues would step up to the plate, I
will be happy to supply contact information for Eric, as well as a link I
have that tells you how to do the splitting up your post part.

Regards,
Lois
