I'm not tech-wizard but just in case you were thinking I could do it
(because I opened my mouth on it) :-) I'm going to duck this one - I really
don't have the time to start or run a network for garden blogging.

I am however taking the first steps towards creating some partnerships and
networking in garden video.

I've had a lot of input from my readership about garden television a while
ago (over 100 emails plus blog comments when I asked them about it) and
while garden video has some limitations, one of those is not access to
bandwidth and distribution. We can individually make video and upload them
to a variety of sources. There is unbounded future potential in this area
but there is a seriously bounded financial consideration right now - there
just ain't no money in it. ;-(

I've launched a video channel - http://video.douggreensgarden.com as a trial
and test area for video. If you produce garden video - want a wider
distribution area - drop me a note OFF-List to give me your subscriber data.
I'll take your embed codes and upload your video as well onto that site.
No financial considerations, no copyright issues, I'll simply subscribe to
your video channel and upload them to the site to increase your range of
viewership. I note that I'm starting to close in on 100K viewers on my
videos with several hitting the 5-figure mark now so it's an interesting
learning curve.

If there's enough interest and it develops into something I might take it to
the next level. But for now, it's a playground and testing area. If you
want to be part of it - let me know your channel info.
