Re: plant combo suggestions, please


 My columbines (wild and hybrid) are planted near perennials that start
growing later and are much taller. They effectively hide the columbines
once the leaf miners start. One batch is at the top of a berm, so I see
the flowers, but have to climb up there to see the damage.

If somebody has a good, sustainable solution to these little buggers, I'd
sure like to know what it is. I'm not a perfectionist in the garden, so I
view their damage as "natural variegation."
