Re: Kindle and its peers


I love Betty's concept of a netbook for reading magazines. Portability 
is a big issue with magazines -- don't we all read them while we're on 
the subway, or in a waiting room or while eating a quick lunch? So, I 
think once the online magazine becomes perfected (I admit, there's still 
work to be done), the natural evolution would be to a lightweight 
portable with all the bells and whistles required that's as easy to use 
for reading full colour magazines as the Kindle is for books.

They're not all perfect, but here are some of the magazines and
