Re: high tech garden devices

Catriona,

One of the most useful things to me in my garden (I grow prize-winning
daffodils) is my digital camera. I use it to photograph my beds after
planting. Then I print the photographs out in black and white on plain 8 x 11-1/2
paper and write the name of each cultivar directly on the paper. That way,
if (when) deer run through the garden, with my collie in hot pursuit, and
labels are pulled out, I still know where everything is so I can show the
flower when they bloom.

Another of the most useful things to me in my garden is the computer,
keeping track of all the daffodil cultivars I have, along with their
blooming/show records. And, of course, for research.

Maybe not exactly what you were looking for, but definitely hi-tech!

Lina Burton
