Hello Nancy,

Hope all is well with you. I am pretty sure the press day is the day 
before the first day. The first day is when the Queen and the Duke will 
admire all the beautiful displays. Think I might join them this time, have 
not been able to accept their kind invitations before!

Nan, I don't know the press date for Chelsea, but I attended the press 
day at Hampton Court several years ago and it was held
the day before the Opening day. As we were leaving attendees to the 
grand ball were arriving dolled up in their finery. The downside
was the market place was not open for business. Nancy Szerlag
