To follow up what Gloria said, I like my current HP Pavilion dm4, which is an earlier version than hers, with a smaller screen. Very portable. It has replaced my desktop entirely. I like this laptop a lot better than the two Dells I've owned previously, and also more than the Gateway I had immediately before this (although I've always liked Gateways) -- more memory, faster response. I cart my HP Pavilion around all the time -- it's light and small enough to stick into a tote. I can appreciate the bigger screen that Gloria has, though, especially for editing duties. A friend has the bigger screen, and it is great for comparing documents side by side.
