I have an HP Pavillion g7-1150 notebook. It has a 17 inch screen, great for
working at my desk yet a bit large for me to tote around.  It was purchased
for me by "experts" who saw a good value. Looking at some reviews and
pricing, the reviews are excellent and the price is discounted to around or
under $549. There is an updated model now (mine is a year old), that sells
for just a few dollars more.  I would recommend it.
