RE: [GWL]: TRIBUTE TO THE UNITED STATES
Gordon Sinclair's tribute to the U.S. was probably written in the late1960s
or early 1970s judging from the context and the fact that he has been dead
for quite some time (can't really remember when although he was one of our
best known, and often controversial, writers and broadcasters)
>From the many conversations I have had with my family and friends, I know
that Canadians share in your heartbreak over the past days and will continue
to do so.
Having lived in Connecticut for four years while my husband worked in New
York City, we are very familiar with the Trade Centre area and we are
devastated as we watch the terrible scenes that have unfolded.
Please know that as fellow North Americans we have always relied on your
amazing strength and spirit and will continue to do so.
Our thoughts and prayers are with all of you.
