Re: [GWL]: Is everyone okay on this list?

I was on my way to LA to give some talks, Sept. 11th, 6:30 AM California time, when I turned on the radio. You know how I felt then.
  I decided to keep on driving, even though I wondered if anyone would even want to hear about allergy free gardening on a day like this? It seemed so lightweight suddenly.
  But I figured, as the speaker, I should show up, even if no one else did. Actually quite a few did and I talked and it was good. I talked again the next day in San Bernardino County and it was good too.
  The people who did these horrible things were not gardeners. Gardening is about appreciating life, about nurturing, about friendship, and sharing-- plants, squash and tomatoes, books, ideas. 
  The world needs more gardeners. My best to all you fellow gardeners. I hope you and your loved ones are safe.
