[GWL]: Moderation

After something like the WTC events, there is a need to express feelings,
opinions, stories, and simply to vent.  This is normal, and is necessary for
emotional, mental and spiritual release of such a terrible happening.
    However, I would ask the list to not let the expression of feelings make
us lose sight of the focus of this list and consider that we should start
moving back to the intended purpose of this list.
    I say that because in following the statistics of the list, as I must do
as list owner, I note that there have been unsubscriptions in the last day,
which usually tells me that people are starting to become unhappy with what
they are getting in their mail from the list.  The most sensitive/least
patient go first, but they are a bellweather that strain is starting to
build and it's time to switch topics.  
    This doesn't mean all WTC threads must now stop, but please start
thinking "Garden Writing" again if at all possible.
We've not had any introductions in a long time.  How about some more now?
