Hi Doreen,

I have yet to have this situation in terms of garden writing but in 
my other consulting work, I have run into it once or twice.  In fact, 
I am dealing with a non-paying client at the moment.  I can tell you, 
right off, it is a pain in the you know what.

I find, that a letter written from an attorney is invaluable.  One 
way to save money is to write the letter yourself and have an 
attorney print it out on their letterhead and sign it.  Another tact 
is to send the letter yourself and say that you have consulted your 
attorney who has advised you that....(etc.).

 From my perspective, it would be helpful if you were comfortable 
letting the list know who the problem clients are so that we know 
which clients to avoid -- or at least to monitor closely.  I wonder 
how others feel about this?

And list member Sheri has also dealt with a similar situation 
recently.  Sheri, was the issue ever resolved?
