Re: [GWL]: Getting paid


Thank you all for the great suggestions.  I have written letters with the
CC: to a lawyer to no avail.  In my estimation, the $500 owned by the
website and $4,900 owed by a corporation are too small of amounts to hire a
lawyer, especially since he or she would have to file across state lines,
adding to the expenses.  I never thought about a collection agency.  It
probably will work with the website, as the company is large and has many
assets.  The amount owed by the corporation is probably gone; they are
teetering on bankruptcy.  They may be there already.  I think I will deduct
that as a bad debt.  Again, thanks for all your thoughts and the collection
agency idea.
