The number one question is "Why won't my ____________ bloom?"
The blank depends on the season, starting with Daffodils, then Wisteria in
an endless litany ending with, "Why aren't there any berries on my
Holly bushes?"

Number two is "Why did my __________ die? " (Usually a function of compacted
red clay and idiot "landscapers"  that barely chip out a hole the size of
the rootball. )

Interestingly, a decade ago the number 2 question was a tossup between "What
can I do for the brown spots on my lawn?"  and questions about Blossom End
Rot of tomatoes.

Fewer people in my area are doing their own lawns now, and fewer still are
growing vegetables.
