Re: Moles + wildlife and gardens in general

That said, moles dug the most extraordinary network of tunnels in my garden, and lots of plants died each year as a result, just collapsing into the tunnels. It could be because the soil around the roots was dislodged and also because other small animals -- mice, chipmunks -- use the tunnels after the moles dig them. The moles are after grubs and the milky spore I recommended  in a previous email kills the grubs. I truly hate to kill anything but getting rid of the grubs somehow seems reasonable to me.
