Title: Re: [GWL] books Come to Portland, OR and visit Powell's City of Books. Bring a sleeping bag and a battery powered light and camp out in the aisles. It takes the first full day just to find your way around the place. They have a complete horticulture and botany collection, but just to make it interesting, they have a separate store in another neighborhood that is devoted entirely to gardening and cookbooks, and it's connected through an open doorway to an excellent gourmet grocery store.

Interesting thread, considering many (most?) of us on this list are
writers. I'm in the wall-of-books category. As with plants, there is always
room for another book.
