Hello Penne,
You may want to begin with Commonwealth Arboretum at
University of Kentucky. Contact them at 606 257-1601. There is a directory of
Gardens in North America compiled by the American Assoc. of Botanical Gardens
& Arboreta. Comes in handy once in a while. Perhaps they could give you
additional leads for the immediate area. Also check the yellow pages for large
established nurseries and garden centers... of which there is an abundance in
Lexington. They should be in the know on gardens.
