Re: Regional magazines (chiming in late)
...and of course, there's the fabulous Upstate Gardeners' Journal, by, for
and about Upstate New Yorkers! I'm not biased at all of course. Anyone
remember Tim Sams and his Virginia Garden Guide? Nice publication, but
short-lived. I don't think that being both glossy and regional is very easy.
We offer inexpensive advertising and don't spend a fortune on printing. And
we've grown every year for the past nine, so it's working.
