Yes, understanding the soil web is the basis for building more knowledge.

for an article I wrote on soil biology. It lays out what is going in the
earth in easy-to-understand terms. Quote me if you like or use the article
as a jumping-off point, but get out the word on soil biology. Query
magazines, approach your usual employers and mention it on radio and TV
gardening programs.
If we all saturate the public with this information, we will educate them on
why things like cover crops, mulch and compost tea are the future and are
the way to co-exist with the planet.
Pardon another rant, but you all give me such great openings!
