Re: Compost Tea Confusion

Jeff and All,
I agree somewhat and certainly I feel challenged today to make compost tea
understood if I were to write about it but given time, experience with the
product, and research that will change. I heard our own Jeff Lowenfels give
a very clear down to earth presentation here in Oregon a few days ago. My
"tough science" husband who has been skeptical about this left saying we
have to seriously start using compost tea and running comparison trials.
Jeff has obviously worked hard to get a handle on this, the information is
new and still being collected. But I think we can all learn enough so we
don't sound like we are promoting snake oil or emulating Jerry Baker and
saying squirt on a little beer, shake on a little sugar. This is
demonstrable replicable work.
