GWA Symposium follow-up

Hi!

Just getting through all the GWL posts - I concur with most of the comments
on the recent GWA symposium - but as a first-timer I have a few follow-up
questions perhaps you all can help with?

- Where are the evaluation forms? None were in our attendee kits, at sessions
or mailed/emailed/faxed to us - or did I miss something? I worked in trade
shows for 15 years and every organization did eval forms on-site and afterwards
- often offering prizes/tokens just to get that valuable feedback - I know GWA
members would not need any coaxing - but seems like there would be a form to
fill out to quantify and rate results (that way you could see for instance
that last year's tours had 97% approval rating and this year was 90% and then ask
why) - then a section for additional comments.

- Are the speakers compensated in any way? Do they get a token fee and/or
travel expenses paid? Aside from our keynoter sponsored by Longwood, I'm a little
confused by the previous GWL comments whether they are paid at all or just
not paid their regular rates.

- Do we get an updated/final attendee list with all the on-site registrants?
Or is this posted anywhere?

By my count I gave out several hundred business cards, but I'm sure I did not
meet all 660 of those who came - which makes me look forward to next year!

Sincerely,
Kathy Jentz
