You are correct, it is not a writing job, but local
garden writers may be interested as well as
publishers. I think it is a middle man job. The person
would have to do everything you said, plus work with
the publisher. Or the publisher would have to do
everything you said. It is a team job where the
"writer" or "editor" would produce the book with him
and whose names appear on the jacket would have to be
discussed ahead of time. I am sure he has a name that
sells, and the horticultural information, but needs a
person who knows computers and the publishing
industry.
