Re: Package from Portland?

I received my box today. The UPS people in Portland told me it would arrive tomorrow, so it was a day "early."

I never ship plants -- I accept or buy only the number I can carry on the plane.  A week in a box without light or water won't do most plants much good. :-) Most companies that ship plants to me use second-day air. (UPS offered it, but it was really expensive.)

Ann Marie Van Nest and I checked in at the airport at the same time -- she had boxed her plants (in a box she'd  bought from the UPS folks) and checked it as baggage on the plane -- I keep meaning to e-mail and ask her if that worked well.
