Re: veggie planting chart

Mary Ann
Have you thought about making your own chart? Using Extension leaflets,
vegetable germination rates, frost dates etc, you should be able to work out a
simple plant when chart and put it into a decent graphics package.

This is a bit off-topic, but copyright-free info was specified in the
chart request, and I have noticed that many Extension publications are
copyrighted these days. It used to be that Extension and USDA info was free to use,
but now you have to check. Not sure why they went this route since they
want the info widely disseminated, they're tax-supported, and it costs money
to file for a copyright. Anyone know?

Hi folks,

I need a copyright free Vegetable seed and planting chart if anyone has
one.
Thanks. It will be used in my upcoming book, Rocky Mountain Gardener's
Guide. Or maybe you can point me to one. Any help at all is greatly
appreciated.

Thanks,
Mary Ann Newcomer
